He’s talking about the difference between the web in the city vs small towns,
and the individual and how the web can lack personalization.
Which I think is why everyone including myself misses Myspace so much,
it could be made to reflect the My in Myspace where as other social networks
including fb and Youtube do not.
When it comes to profit I think we are kind of being hypnotized and
there is nothing we can do about it unless we stay off sites like fb and Youtube,
since google bought Youtube they now put commercials in everything.
And with fb.. all you have to do is search something and related adds pop up
on the side of your home page, it’s creepy.

my 2nd gif :)
Too many photos, too little time, it’s likely we see hundreds of photos everyday,
maybe we should slow down, take time to really look at a photo and put yourself in it.
I think if you want to reuse photographs with the photographers permission
then you should do so, because art can be reused and something different to each of us.
I’m not one to unconsciously take a picture, while each of my photos were taken with much thought and emotion, so much so that when I see a picture I can remember the feeling I had while taking it,
and that’s nothing I would trade for. Too many photos on the internet isn’t hurting anything or anyone, it may desensitize us, but so does a lot of things, including going to see the things we photograph in person, but we don’t see anyone trying to block off a view simply because we have seen so many.

You can ask me anything and I’ll answer honestly, but only with yes or no.
